Save America's Barns
They don't build them
like they used to.
About Us
76 years
of restoring
Marvin Schwartz
has been saving historic barns since he was old enough to help his father, Menno, who began in 1939.
Throughout Indiana and Ohio, Menno, his son, and his son's sons have preserved hundreds of structures for farmers, business owners, and history-lovers alike.
Excellence and Professionalism
They don't build them like they used to and, unfortunately, they don't fix them like they used to.
Too many construction crews today are doing what they do because it's their job. Time is money to most, and cutting corners is a regular part of their workmanship.
That mentality doesn't stand around the Schwartzes. We don't cut corners. One of our [humorous but true] mottos has been, "We ain't fast, but it'll last!"
Marvin enjoys the work he does. He has a passion for the history and architecture of old structures, and takes a personal interest in each building he encounters.
His care, knowledge, and experience is among the best of his generation.
